Exporting your spending plan
How to export or print your spending plan to share with a sponsor or partner, or to keep your own records.

Sometimes you want your spending plan outside of SpendSquirrel, to share it with someone, to keep a record, or to take it to a meeting. Exporting makes that easy.
Why you might export
- To share with a sponsor. If you are working a 12-step programme, you can hand your sponsor a clear, written plan to review together.
- To share with a partner. A simple way to get everyone on the same page about the month.
- For your own records. Keep a copy of each month to look back on your progress.
How to export
From your spending plan, choose the export or print option. You can produce a clean copy of your plan that shows your income, your bills, your categories, and how the month is going. It is designed to be easy to read for someone who is not looking at the app.
Printing
If you prefer paper, printing works the same way. Some people like having a physical copy to bring to a meeting or to keep on the fridge as a gentle reminder.
Sharing within a household
If you are on the Household plan, you can share your plan with household members directly, so everyone sees the same up-to-date picture without needing to export. For everyone else, an export or printout does the job nicely.
Your data stays yours
Exporting is one more way SpendSquirrel keeps your information in your hands. It is your plan, and you can take it with you whenever you like.
